My Take On The Election
[in no particular order]
1. Howard Dean did one hell of a job when all the Republican/conservative pundits said he would cost the Democrats votes. 2.The Republicans lost the independents who decide every election. 3."Shows what I know"-George W. Bush. 4.The Democrats got their shit together and ran really strong canidates. 5.If Rush Limbugh and other right-wing broadcasters helped the Republicans get in back in '94[and I think they did],then Air America and Ed Schultz helped the Democrats take Amercia back yesterday. 5.The world won't be a perfect place with the Democrats in,but it will [at the very least] get a little better [after all,no one can do a worse job than the Repubs have done during the last several years]. 6.The top two reasons the Republicans lost were Bush's incompetence during Katrina and Bush's incompetence in Iraq. 7.The Democrats got their vote out. 8.With one possible exception the House [depending on the absentee votes] Democrats didn't lose one single seat.

it's not because the demos were so good at what they did, it was because the repubs were so bad at hiding what they did . but I say it's all one big fat lay for us to all enjoy . We are played like a fine tuned instrument .
I'm a democrat hahaha, so what I'm a lifer republican,hahaha. So what both of you are screwed ,hahaha!

Plus they had to run conservative democrats to win the majority....
democrats didn't win yesterday.....conservatism did.......

Wow,the conservative spin [and denial] still never fails to amaze me.
You fail to ignore the fact that in normally conservative Arizonia their same-sex marriage ban was defeated. You also leave out that in Ohio a minimum wage increase and a public smoking ban were passed. And in Missouri Embryonic Stem Cell Research was passed by the voters,that issue,Michael J. Fox and Rush Limbaugh's mean-spirtiness helped elect a Democratic Senator. Close to the only good news the Republicans had last night was Arnold Schwarzenegger,he came in as a hard rightie and was about to loose as such. So he became more moderate,took many liberal stances in terms of sexual orentation,the environment and ESCR and won only by getting votes from liberals and moderates. Not a good night for conservatism at all,no matter how conservatives continue to spin it.
