Fish catches man

Ow.

Quote:
Next second, the scene of triumph turned to horror - as the 14ft blue marlin leapt out of the water across the vessel and speared Mr Card through the chest with its spiked bill.

The impact of the 800lb fish knocked him overboard into the Atlantic off Bermuda.

Then, with a thrash of its tail and with the 32-year-old still impaled and bleeding profusely, it dragged him underwater.
Next time, use artificial bait!

lol.

I was actually going to post this when it first was on CNN. I had the thread ittle thought out: Age old mystery proves true: Fish with pointy nose CAN spear man. Something like that. I couldnt think of an actually funny way to put it, so I just left it. Hehe.

But seriously--Iv personally always wondered if those Fish, with long sharp noses and that like to jump, could take a man down. Now I know. *moves further in land*.

Chesticular impalement has never been very high on our list of fishing phobias. Now it is. It's just a matter of time before the inventor of the 'shark suit' trots out a kevlar fishing vest.

Exclamation Fishkabob

"Oh, yeah? Oh, YEAH?!? Some nerve, trickin' me into putting a METAL HOOK through my HEAD, and now you think you're gonna haul my happy ass onto your boat?? Well, think again, MONKEY BOY! HYAH!! *Marlin skewers fisherman like cube of beef-

Hey, mortal combat is mortal combat.

"He was underwater and he had his arms wrapped round the fish and the fish was pushing him under. I lost sight of him for a few seconds. That's a sight I'll never forget. I knew there was no good going to come out of it." -The man's father

Hm, giant fish just skewered my son & plunged into the sea with him bleeding like a sieve. Okay, hold on here, there's got to be a bright side to this... hm... uh... darn, I don't think there is a bright side! Dangit...

A similar thing happened to a lady prob a year or two back...
She was also impaled through the chest while deep sea fishing...
Her breast-implant somehow got in the way and kept the fish from piercing her lung...
No BS.
