I know already

The United States proves its strength by yielding to Attack, recently we have seen that reverse for fear of a Terrorist attack. But most Democrats will say the war was wrong, because we attacked first. And that is the same point, when others attack a Christian, we have to yield to them, to prove our strength in Christ. To yield, when you have the power to attack, is strength. You may drive your point home, but when you have the opportunity to attack, using impunity, then you have lost what you may be trying to gain.
To, say that being a Christian, is the perfect, and the high road to biscuits and gravy is an understatement. Just go to the prisons, and talk to some of those Christians, they have been there, done that, and when they get attacked, and they have the power to kill you, and they don't, that shows strength. Being a Christian, is like working out, to build muscles, it hurts, but the results are great. I always thought that being a Christian was to hard, and had to many legs attached, but the opposite can be said, no religion has many laws, and consequences. There is freedom in Christ, not man made laws. These laws have done much damage, our prisons are full of man made laws that have gone astray.

When did the United States yield to an attack??

BTW not all Christians turn the other cheek, and there are many people with other, or no faith, that can be the better person & walk away.

We, yielded, first when the Trade Towers where hit in the 90s, second we have yielded to Korea, we also yielded when illegals took to the streets

You can say that again. That is where the each person has a different stage they are in. You see, just as you are saved, doesn't mean the evil goes away, neither does it mean, that a person will become what another wants them to be, or as they see it. I didn't go to church to learn how to be a Christian, although some do. Your eyes have to be opened, only one can do that. When your eyes are closed, you have eyes but don't see, ears yet don't hear. We can tell you the message, yet you wont understand. I think, the difference in a Christan, and a non believer , is this, we may not turn the other cheek, but we get on our knees, and asked for forgiveness, at least I do, and another difference for me is, I am promised a reward for doing this, as a non believer has no reward waiting. There is tremendous freedom in Christ, but people have restricted the truth, and man made laws tend to profit themselves. Not, trying to offend, but where is the freedom in doing what pleases you, then in the long run it kills you or someone you love. With out Jesus in my life, and many others will tell you, I would have been consumed with revenge, and hate, and getting even, and that would have landed me in jail, where I would have found Jesus. And Jail is not a place, where I wanted to find Christ, but alot of criminals find Jesus, because, atlas, they slowed down, and did not think about why the world is so bad, and they decided to read the Bible. They read it, and made a decision, they decided that no Christ, or not believing in nothing, is much worse than believing in Christ. You see, we are evil, sick folks, I will be the first to admit that. That is why I need Jesus in my life. If you think you can live a good life without Christ, then, by all means, go ahead, but I feel sad for you, because a reward may not be waiting for you. But if you look at the examples of Christians, and base your decisions on them, you may be making a fatal error, because we shouldn't follow anyone but Christ, and who is to say, I or them have been saved. The Bible says, the Church will disappear, most will fall away. Maybe we are seeing this now, and the examples that we have, are not great examples of what we had 100 years ago. That is why I rely on my Bible, and not others as examples. But trust me, there are some great Christians out there, just as there great Atheist, but one has a promise, where as the other doesn't...

Why don't you prove your strength in your faith by keeping it to yourself then if you think that's the way it works?

The war had nothing to do with Christianity. It all has to do with making money off the oil companies.

Why do you Christians continue to insist that we're evil? Do you, in your heart, truly believe that you're evil? Do you honestly think that you're a bad person? I just don't get this dogma that's based on the principal that you're a piece of crap. How can you believe that about yourself?

Okay, let's see; 8 or 10 people on the news compared to 6 billion and you want to tell me that all people are evil?

Hey man, if you want to think you're wicked, you go right ahead. DO NOT include me. I'm a fabulous person and it has nothing to do with God. It's all me.

Thats the difference, Bear, we have all fallen short. I didn't realize that. I cant judge you, but I know we are all sinners, which In my opinion makes us evil. But I am sure there are good people out there, just because your good, doesn't save you from saving you. Look, at it this way, Jesus said that
" I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greaten than he. "

So wow, if he was the greatest on earth, but he is the least in heaven, then what part of that line am I in???
Oh, when I said we, I didnt mean you Bear, You are the Bear.

Well, that would be a lovely story if I believed in your God.

I'm sorry, I can't get on board with anything that tries to tell me that I am lesser than or not good enough. If that's what you like to believe about yourself, you have at it.

I don't understand. I don't get how you can embrace something that tells you that, at your core, you're a piece of shit.

Thats the beauty it, you dont understand, Bear, and sometimes it takes a little investigating to begin the process of understanding. If you are like me, then sooner or later you are gonna get fed up, and decide that you want the truth, not from someone like me, or what you hear on T.V, or from your friends. You will have the need and desire to get it straight. I was the same way as you, I did not see the same picture. SO I got mad, and one day, I started to read the Bible. I didnt look to the church or people for the Answers, I wanted the answers myself. So I can understand your point, and I can understand your point on why we are a piece of crap, when compared to God. SO spank me, already!!!

I love how you assume that I've never read the bible and never been exposed to Christianity.

Guess what? I've done the investigation. I was raised in the Church.

Hey, and if it works for you, then great. It doesn't work for me. I think it's great that you're so strong in your faith, but, please, stop trying to impose your belief system on me.
