The thing that I hate is that you're obligated (at least in some people's eyes) to give the couple a present if you get an invitation, even if you don't give a shit about the wedding or the people getting married.

Hey, I'm getting married next week and you're invited.

I hate it when people spell my name wrong, btw. Even family members have been known to write Vicki, Vicky, Vickie, etc, etc. I've given up on making a big deal about it, but it's still really annoying.

My grandmother still spells my name wrong. She spells "Philip" with two L's.

She's only known me, what, 33 years?
