Mexican Soldiers Overpower Border Patrol

U.S. Border Patrol agents were backed down this week by armed men, dressed in what appeared to be Mexican military uniforms and carrying military weapons, who seized a captured dump truck filled with marijuana from the U.S. agents and dragged it across the border into Mexico with a bulldozer.

It's common for the Zetas to strike across the so-called border. They aren't usually this outrageous, but there is hardly any border any more, is there? It's actually Mexican territory for a good ways north of the Rio Grande, too. Mexican citizens are the overwhelming majority in every Texas county along the river.

In popular terms, the border is a fuzzy zone running a hundred miles or so north of the Rio Grande. Houston has openly declared itself an asylum city, as have several other towns and cities in the nominal US.

We now have U.S. troops training in certian areas of the Mexican border. Apparently, they're doing a good job so far.

Well, there are definitely federal military bases down near the border, some of them training facilities. But they are little more than mercenaries, and they are headed for Iraq.

As far as I know, and I've been keeping an eye on this, there are no federal military personnel guarding the US-Mexico border. That's not what they're for.

I understand these Los Zetas commandos were trained in the School of the Americas to combat the drug trade but deserted (pay is better no doubt) and now work for the same cartels they were supposed to fight.

The corrupt scum in Mexico have absolutely no respect for America. Instead of wasting time doing interviews for the fake, phony, fraud "Wolf Blitzer," Rummy should be developing strategy to destroy the threat from Mexico. It should be pretty easy.

I doubt these were actual Mexican soldiers, but if so, I hope appropriate measures are taken to punish those involved.

They actually are training for Iraq, and aiding the border patrol in the process. It was supposed to be secret, but someone leaked it. I saw it on the news on Saturday. The commander said that rounding up illegals is a great traing method for Iraq.
