Good, Better, Bad
Here's a thread where you get to voice your opinion about things in your life. But you're supposed to follow the format of naming a blessing, then naming a greater blessing, and then name a problem. This way you'll name at least two blessings for every problem you have (and hopefully you'll feel better about having so many problems, when you realize that your blessings out-number your problems).
I'll start with an example: Good : I'm in love. (I get the semi-giddy, bulletproof feeling when I think of her.) Better : She's in love with me. (A one-way relationship would suck) Bad : She's a thousand miles away. Another example : Good : I have a steady job. (better than unemployed !) Better : My income is greater than my expenses (woo-hoo ! Savings !) Bad : My job drives me bonkers with lots of unpaid overtime. Another example : Good : My mother and father love me. Better : My entire family isn't dysfunctional and are not likely to ever be guests on Jerry Springer. Bad : As I get older, I become increasingly aware that my beloved parents may not be around much longer. I need to make time for them. You get the idea, people ?

Better: The majority of women I go to school with are very attractive... Bad: The majority of them have ugly, punk-ass boyfriends... *yawn*

Good: It's Friday
Better: I get to go home at 5:00 and have dinner at the Buckeye. Bad: My depression and lack of interest in my job grows exponentially as the days pass...
