Lightbulb Ordered a Mini Cooper 'S'

After testdriving quite a bit we finally ordered one.

It's gonna be an Electric Blue Cooper 'S', 163hp supercharged 6-speed shift, white roof and mirrors and 17" S-Lite wheels. Only other options we took were the auxhilary input for mp3 players, the onboard computer (trip odometer, fuel usage etc) and a 3-spoke steering wheel with cruise control. Also got the driving lamps to get back at these f'ing SUVs and trucks that keep bathing my car in something close to sunlight when they're behind me at the light. Highbeams and driving lamps should be ample vengeance...

Other than that it's stock. For those that think the Mini's small, check these pics, of the classic and the new one side my side. I used to own a classic one for a while, loved it

Thats awesome tam. The size different is striking. I don't see how a human fit in the old one, after I sat in the new one and it was small.

The blue is great too.

ETD is mid-may, which is what we were shooting for anyway. Will be receiving a tracking number soon so we can see what's happening with it. They're made to order in Britain

I am gonna make an appointment for the motorcycle safety course this monday, and do it in april. May-June-and beyond I will not be online too much i reckon. Too much fun carving in either the Mini or the Suzuki SV650 I intend to buy

Im just messin with ya! Its a nice car and Im sure it could woop a Mustang since its probably 1,000+lbs lighter.

I like them but they are far too small for me to feel comfortable in. I had 2 turbocharged 4 bangers before my Stang. I liked them but they lacked torque.

I like my 5.0L V-8's.

Dude, I like those cars so much. Just the idea of them. I would seriously consider getting one of them, except I've heard a lot of negative things about the reliability on them.

That car is dope. Good buy Tam!

Debra doesnt like Mini's.

The Hamptons is about an hour and a half from me and Hassel Mini I go past every day when I ride the train to and from work.

Just what I've heard from a few different people.

A lot of hearsay, I know, but that's the word on the street. You've heard different?

i heard the earlier generations had some problems, but this is a 2k4 and whatever came up in the past few years was fixed...

pretty typical for a fresh model, and i'm not expecting any problems for the next couple years..
