Kid Notorious on Comedy Central

Kid Notorious Website

The ads for this show made it seem like it was going to suck, but I caught about 15-20 minutes of an episode the other night and I have to admit it made me laugh. The show is an fictonal animated account of producer Robert Evans' life. In the episode I saw, Evans is arrested and recruits the feuding gang members in his cell to be in his new Broadway production of the Godfather. What makes this show funny is the jokes and dialogue more than the situation, so check it out, it's good.

He gets his revenge on Coppola and Sharon Stone in the cartoon.

His autobiog The Kid Stays in the Picture is a real good read. IF what he says is true, he forced Coppola to lengthen The Godfather, thus giving it full texture so you could smell the spaghetti. And according to Evans, the finale with the cross-cutting of the baptism and the revenge was the film editor's idea, not Coppola's.

I've watched it twice now, & both times, it was pretty funny. A little too Hollywood-insider for me, but good anyway.
