AIDA, AIDA...all we ask of you..

my favorite show (that i have seen performed) is in LA...briefly. So briefly it leaves tomorrow. *cries*
i refuse to miss it... but i didnt even remember till the other day that it is in LA this week. Gr.

BUT Sydney, the wee one i sit for twice a week wants to see it, so i told her that i would bring her with me tomorrow if her mom lets her go. and of course, her mom can give me 10 bucks an hour to take her, and she can pay for her own ticket.

Tickets are like 30-60 bucks. I will be sitting in the back if i make it. or pretty close to it. all cash should be going towards fun stuff for my apartment right now... i do have to make sure there will be tickets available still...but i dont think 2 sucky seats will be a prob.

if she doesnt go, i think i might just go by myself-- either to the matinee or to the night performance--probly the matinee. its all the way out in Costa Mesa-- an hour at least- though i dont mind, cause i get to take my sweet wonderful Camry, which i am SO loving.

anyways... Sydney will probly call me sometime in the morning to let me know-- or Pat, her mom will call me. Unless Syd forgets, but i think she'll remember, cause she REALLY wants to go. I dont mind taking her-- she is a fun kid most of the time, almost like a kid sister to me... and really funny. i babysat her tonight for 6 hrs... i got a few hrs of reading in-- a great perk of the job. and i ate dinner there-- which i think will feel like is a perk once i move out and have to make all my meals at home with groceries i've bought.

i missed "Online ticket sales" by like 40 minutes... but the box office said we can buy them at the door. I'm bringin Sydney-- she SO better be a model 11 yr old today. she is usually great, but still... i just hope she has had no sugar today.

i saw Aida on broadway just last month, i loved it, I know i'm gonna go see it again. We got half price tickets, so we paid 100 bucks for two tickets in the orchestra section.

and seeing adam pascal live was just awesome!

thats a sweet deal! I'm seeing Jesus Christ Superstar on August 3rd and I am sitting in like the 4th row. yay. I always sit in the back- always. Orchestra tickets are nice...but not usually within reach. BUT the family I babysit for has an extra ticket and invited me.

AIDA was beautiful. I would go back if it was in town another weekend. Its going to San Diego next, but that is a bit too far.
Did I mention that AIDA was beautiful? I liked it even more than the other time I saw it. It gave me serious show withdrawal though. I gotta get into something- I'm picking up a backstage west ASAP
