The Wedding

well, let's just say i hate my grandparents for having my mother so late in life, and so many years after their other children. i also hate my cousins that are my parents' age for not having children. i have never felt so alone or out of place in my life. but i did have fun.

thursday: i leave at 7am, fly...i hate flying....and then drive to my aunt's house. thursday was nice. it was just me, my mom, my aunt kathy, my uncle jim, and my cousin marcie. i can handle them. we didnt do much. shopped, talked, had lunch. the rehearsal dinner was that night. we went to the place of the wedding....so beautiful, and then ate too much food. went to the hotel and passed out (in my own bed )

friday: boring. boring. boring. marcie, the only amusing person out of the bunch disappeared for the day. i ended up going to costco with my aunt and mom. that night my cousin renee, and her two children, colin and camille arrived. i started reading a book, but stopped to decorate the flower girl basket. camille was the flower girl. she's 6 and so adorable. exactly like i was at her age...all shy and stuff. after burning myself with the hot glue gun a few times, we went back to the hotel andi enjoyed another night with my own bed.

saturday: everyone that actually had a role in the wedding went to go have their nails done and such, so my mom and i went on the search for a strapless bra for me to wear with my dress. after hours of searching, we finally found one. my mother also had to buy an outfit and a pair of shoes while we were at it. then all the other people arrived my aunt diane and uncle larry. diane is the devil she's so degrading to everyone. the aunt ilene and my cousin vonnie. they're actually the nice ones, but they were sharing a hotel room with us, so i hated them by association. i wanted my own bed damnit! uncle lamont and aunt mary. i like mary, she's a sweetheart. she's only related to me by marriage, she doesnt have that evil blood. we just ate dinner....i read and made sure colin and camille didnt kill eachother. that night i didnt get my own bed

sunday: the wedding. it wasnt until 5, so in the morning we went shopping. with the sisters :roillseyes: suddenly around my aunts, my mother turns so shallow. all she cares about is shoes and impressing them. oh god, it was horrible. she's also one of those people that makes herself look better by putting down others, so she was either insulting me, or complaining about some random person at a store, or a clerk, or another car. i wanted to slap her. the wedding itself was wonderful. my cousin corrie married this girl tania. tania is so beautiful. i loved her dress...it laced up the back and it fit her figure perfectly. she's a size 16 at least, but not fat. she has curves and such, just ...i dunno...big. but still gorgeous. and her family was so much fun at the wedding. most of them didnt speak english, and all of them were crazy when dancing. most were probably drunk. renee and vonnie got wasted. they were so funny. i think the best part of the night was when my aunt kathy and uncle jim danced to a slow song. they were adorable. she's barely 5'1" and he's at least 6'2" even in heals she barely reached his shoulder. it made me smile. they also had old wedding pictures of the parents of the bride and groom. kathy and jim looked so cute in theirs

monday: my mom woke us up at 6 even though we didnt get to sleep till 1. i was finished with my book. and very very annoyed with everyone at this point. we went shopping...again :rollseyes: my mom bought more shoes. finally we went back to aunt kathy's. i started another book out of boredom. almost finished it too. kathy let me have it

and today i came home. finally. and my mom has been a pain ever since. i think i'm just sick of her
