I saw it. Not bad, but nothing great either...well...save for maybe one hell of an Asian ass. But whatever. I look forward to the others. As long as they they're better and more exciting.
So what of Dreamcatcher? LOL. Certainly not what I expected. |

*semi-spoilers*. Yea, I know what you mean. The first half gave me exactly what I expected from the previews and then all of a sudden we get an entirely different movie with shades of Independence Day (attack on the ship) and Men in Black (aliens with British accents). And others to be sure.

All in all, the movie was another Stephen King disappointment. I loved the first hour. Some of it even made me jump in my seat. But, the last hour-and-a-half made me take a step back and the ending was anti-climatic. Donnie Wahlberg was cool though.

The first part of the movie was great. I thought the characters were well-casted, and you could really see the friendships between them.
However, once the Aliens showed up, and Mr.Grey took over, and operation Blueboy with Morgan Freeman. It just dissolved into this random mess of characters and action sequences. Suffice to say, I was really dissapointed leaving the theater.

Mr. Gray appears soley in the head of Jonesey in the book, I figured putting it on screen would be strange.
