I think this Voodoo Labs Wahzoo currently the coolest wah wah going. True bypass when off, all analog signal path when on, an auto wah mode, and a sequencer type wah. Might have to get meh one.

I was fortunate enough to be in second row of a Allan Holdsworth concert last spring.

Also fortunate to attend a couple Frank Gambale shows.

That is some truly horrible fusion crap, the worst kind of music ever flucking invented by a bunch of no soul, technical only playing, geeks.

Fusion is the most advanced form of music.

optimus, no doubt, you will not see retards at jazz fusion concerts, which is kind of nice actually.

Having seen many live performances of amazing guitarists such as Steve Morse, Larry Coryell, John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, Paco De Lucia, and many others, and having watched tons of vids of live shows, I would say Allan Holdsworth and late Shawn Lane are the two heavyweight champs with Frank Gambale close behind.

Found out they do Stormy Monday, Sweet Home Chicago, and Cold Shot, so no memorization is necessary. Just simple 12 bar blues stuff there although Stormy Monday adds a couple m7 chords.

Paul Gilbert is another virtuoso...

And of course these guys can do more predictable stuff, but by them having advanced technical ability and technical knowledge, it makes it more interesting to the educated ear.

Ordered the Voodoo Lab wah. Also, an essential pedal for guitar and bass is the Sonic Research tuner. Got extensive use in last night's rehearsal and is flawless in what it does.

That's my laundry list of "most annoying guitarists ever."

Cool toy, though.

I'm no fan of KISS, but unlike the guitarists on your list, I can at least tolerate them in small doses.
