Guess the Historical Event!

This is a very simple game... post a picture of a historical event... Whoever guesses right posts a new picture and the cycle continues

First up!

Only thing that pops into my head is the Colombian drug war. Don't know why, maybe the camo patterns, the red scarf and it obviously isn't in Africa. Or southern Mexico and 'Commander Zero's' Indian rebellion. Another guess would be Nicaragua and the war against the Samoza regime.

Perhaps it's the first time they had their ENTIRE military in one photo.

lolz.

I have no idea what it could be, frankly, but it's fun to bait Canadians anyway.

Not really. I could have cheated like Pot Roast did, too, by right clicking on the pic, selecting 'copy image location', pasting it in the url box of my browser or just pasting it on notepad, and Googling 'soldier Patrick Cloutier', too, but I didn't.
