Going to NYC again this weekend

Staying in SOHO this time. Any suggestions on what to do? Someone already suggested bluestockings bookstore and some other things. Also wanted to go to the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA but it doesn't start till 11/17 Just another excuse to go back again, I guess!

But seriously I am overwhelmed b/c there is so much i want to do and in so little time. It's not like I won't be back there again sometime soon, but i really want to make the most of my weekend away. How many of ya'll are from/familiar with the city and can give a gal suggestions?

Definitely check out the open, double decker bus tour, especially in the evening if possible.

And of course the Circle Line.

Then live music at filthy, but interesting joints like Arlene's Grocery.

Hope the weather is cooperative for you. The only thing I have on my to-do list in NYC is to get to brasserie les halles (Tony Bordain's old gig) and have a steak and fries.

Eat at the Heidelberg Restaurant on the Upper East Side (German food), by far my favorite restaurant in NYC. It's scrum-diddly-umptious!

Hmmm...she never got back to us on what she ended up doing while there.

I was at that show at the Highline Ballroom on Saturday night (see my post above), and had a fantastic time!!!

Most of you got back to me too late, 'cept for Snout.

I mostly stayed in Soho, Nolita, Tribecca, Little italy, and Chinatown, but I did venture up to Murray Hill to eat me some Indian food at Curry in a Hurry

I plan on going back up in a couple of weeks, so please, keep the suggestions rolling in. I want to go see that Tim Burton exhibition at MOMA next time I go.

The people who own the homebrew store were up for the exhibition this weekend. Their daughter is a photog who works with Tim. They got to hang out with Johnny Depp and Danny Devito at dinner.

Picket Al Sharpton's office while you're there.
