I will be honest wid you about Delay Pedals

I have tried some digital delays such as the Electro-Harmonix Stereo Memory Man and the Digitech TimeBender and they just do not do it for meh. Most digital delays have an "analog" setting that attempts to replicate a real analog pedal and or tape delay of yesteryear. But they sound like they are trying to do it rather than really doin' it. I want the entire signal from guitar string to speaker amp to be analog. Thus, I think I will order a Skreddy Echo. It's psychedelic baby.

For digital delays this PGS modified pedal has some amazing sounds also and many more features, but it is digital. They should be getting a batch of these in a week or two I think, while there is a 5 month wait for a Skreddy since he makes them per paid for order.

After watching the demos and taking into consideration all of the variables that a well informed consumer should, I think I will try to get a hold of the Empress Vintage Modified. Should get notified via email when they get a new batch.

Another company at the boutique level is Mad Professor. Their amps are totally insanely priced, but their pedals are reasonable.

Really hoping to get one of the Empress limited edition Vintage Modified Superdelays though. Should find out in about a week...

The Empress Vintage Modified is on the way baby.

Now I am gassin' fer a G&L SC-2 in Yellow Fever if possible, actually all the colors for this model are cool. Leo Fender's fattest sounding single coils.

Got the the Vintage Modified Superdelay today. US priority mail is pretty fast. Neat pedal! Gots to do a demo song video for it soon. Andy there in the video is going to do a comparison with the VM vs the Famous Fulltone Tube Tape Echo (expensive, requires real tapes and real tubes but is used by The STones, BLack Crowes and stuff) by tomorrow night.
