Yes good song, inspired no doubt by the Mel Gibson film where the British were apparently 'drinking tea' whilst the Anzacs died.

Which doesnt explain how the Brits lost five times more troops than the anzacs.

Actually it was written by an ex pat Scot by the name of Eric Bogle in 1971. Long before the movie.

Right. Did you read Allan Moorhead's book Gallipoli?

It was certanly not Churchill's biggest mistake either.
