1.Reagan emerged at a horrible time in my life-though i find him disagreeable on his own merit im certainly associating him with some idiots who endorsed him and were "problems" for me
2.Reagan did indeed commit the country to the first real challenge to the soviet union-i won't give him as much credit as you do but he does deserve considerable credit
3.what the liberals had done to the country up to that point had earned them some time on the bench-i personally didnt see any more of a future for myself under the libs than i did under the gop-
4. and part of that was the unions plus the politicians had alienated the business community and the more conservative segment of society to the point to where a backlash was inevitable
5.i wish i could provide links for some of the objections i raised that i feel strongly about but i dont know how to find that on the internet-this was a preinternet era.. (lol: pre Gore)

i was a grumpy old dffcult person,alas
but there were things in the time before that its a shame you cant enjoy-im trying to describe a time with some positive things that we lost and the matter is very emotional for me
