Only in a time like now would anyone in a civilized nation condone or excuse this evil .
Oh and thanks Snout for posting the article !  True that in the past other religions have committed crimes in the name of higher powers . But most evolved out of barbarism , where islam has pretty much stayed the same . Wherever they get control it turns to slavery, dictatorship and violence . Other religions evolve and advance into complete immorality . So theres no longer a moral happy middle ground on earth to be found . We have turned western nations into viper pits of perversion, sickness and greed . Where very few are happy or content with life . Families are becomming a thing of the past and most don't have a conscience . Without a conscience theres no evil they won't be capable of .

Pappy&Me, there is really no need to try to compare Islam with other major religions. It is a totally different animal than the two Biblical religions. Just turn back the pages of history to Nazi Germany. Children were indoctrinated that The Fatherland was supreme, that Hitler was the supreme leader, that Jews were to be destroyed and that it was Germany's manifest destiny to conquer the Slavic races and expand the Third Reich into the conquered Eatern Europe and Russia.
Not so different. Go back a little further. When Baden Powell founded the Scouting movement he instilled the boys with patriotism and love of country (based on his exploits in the Boer War). When WW1 started Scouts in their thousands volunteered, because of their training and skills they were mainly earmarked as officer material. When the bloody battles of 1915 and 1916 took place those brave but misguided young men were cut down in their thousands. Every church affililated Scout troop had a "Roll of Honour" listing the high cost of this patriotic fervour. It broke Baden-Powell's heart.
