Talking I am getting a car!!!

Woohoo! I pick it up Thursday!

A black 2002 Ford Explorer, perfect for carrying the stuff I need for joust

The pictures were taken with my cellphone. I will get better ones later with my digital camera.

Now I have to name it. My last three cars were namelesss but they were 500 dollar cars. The one I had before that (Dodge ram charger LE 150 powerwagon) was called "the Beast" some friends named it.

Had one person at work suggest "Beorn's Battlewagon".

In any case...I am soooo excited!!!

That's awesome dude.

Are you still going to take public transit to work, or are your days of sitting on the train over?

That thought had crossed my mind and it is big enough to pick up stragglers along the way possibly. I need a refresher on when and where it is going to be.

I like the battlewagon

we have a ton of exploders here at work. One like that too. It's a good truck. Only issues ours has is (besides years of improper maintenance) a shifter that's hard to shift out of park and the display on the radio doesn't work

The old black mustang was Betty,
The yellow mustang is Lily,
The Saturn is Captain Planet.
Get it? Saturn? Planet? *groan*

I don't have Betty anymore
It'll either be Lily or Captain Planet
They way I figure it is that it's 400 miles. Lily gets 22mpg and Cpt Planet gets 32mpg.
400/22=18gals
400/32=12.5gals
Mustang will only take premium gas
18gals*$3.79=68.22
12.5gals*3.49=43.62

$50 more or less to take the mustang rather than the saturn. I'm not sure I want to splurge or not... On top of that it's 800 miles that'd go on the mustang and I'm trying to keep miles down. Meh
