I got my MARCHING ORDERS! I'm OUTTA HERE!
That is to say, I'm leaving the U.K. to return Stateside on special assignment....
I'm wrapping up wityh packing now...and my plane leaves for LAX tomorrow from Heathrow. And I am very sad.  Firstly, I am gonna be working with the BILL MELENDEZ team (Who make the CHARLIE BROWN TV programmes & feature films....They are gonna commence work on 3 music videos based upon the SNOOPY versus The RED BARON songs done in the 1960's by a band called The ROYAL GUARDSMEN And then I do some location filming for a production project of my own..actually several projects, to be precise..mostly exterior shots of Downtowns, City Parks & such....typically American stuff that just CAN'T be found in Great Britain.... They'll be catalogued & archived for future use at the studios here at home..... Mellisa (and son) shall stay here and look after the studio...AGAIN! And THIS time....there'll be a cousin of hers available to look after our place...so's there'll be NO FUTURE BREAK-INS....like LAST time!  I should think that I'll be there 'till the middle of July or so.... But it IS 3,000 dollars a week income....MINIMUM! There's gonna be one minor change of habit when I *DO* make it back there... I *AM* going to purchase a new firearm....  In the meantime, I shall be keeping you posted on all that goes on whilst I ma there...as well as continuing to contribute to The Lighter Side forums as & when.. Guess, that's all at this time... T.T. F. N. (Ta Ta For Now) The Retired Badge #88 (C.P.D.) has SPOKEN!!!!!! For my own personal safety and all...

Mike=i hope you can relax and enjoy-i have a couple traumas (nowhere near as bad though)i'm trying to get through too so you aint alone.
Maybe you'll have some happy surprises on this side of the drink...

Don't be sad.
You know it has to be done, and it will be a much better assignment for you if you give it a positive turn. Look at it as a bit of adventure, enjoy being in a different country while your here, and try not to lament that you are away from home.
