Naw, not at all. We are just playing this gig because it's a big show with some famous people...we only will do 2 Led Zeppelin songs, the rest will be our originals and a couple of other covers.

Let's see..."Rock'n'Roll", "Traveling Riverside Blues" as far as Led Zeppelin are concerned.

Some of my originals ("Smoke This One For Jesus" and "King of Pot"...old versions could be heard at www.myspace.com/burningwagon), some of Billy's originals too (the other guitarist/singer).

Also, "Sunshine of Your Love" (Cream), "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" (Jimi Hendrix), "32-20 Blues" (Robert Johnson, covered by Gov't Mule), "99 Problems" (Jay-Z)...also some covers by Little Richard and Otis Redding.

I usually don't follow a setlist though.

I assume you guys were smart enough to not do Zeppelin songs as an opening act for a Zeppelin tribute band. But it might have been nice to do something relevent to Zeppelin historically like Shape of Things. Either way hope it went well and I woulda attended the show if I coulda.

It went great!!

The only Led Zeppelin we did was "Rock'n'Roll" and "Travelin' Riverside Blues" (the former is partially a Little Richard rippoff, while the later is a Robert Johnson tune anyways), so who cares.

We also covered some Cream ("Crossroads" and "Sunshine of Your Love"), "Voodoo Child" (going into "99 Problems" during the jam), "32-20", "Hard To Handle", 4 originals and I closed our show with Little Richard's "Lucille".

It was our first show since March, and because of personal problems, Burning Wagon featured only 2 of its original members (myself and the other singer/guitarist). Our drummer is new (his second show with us), but he's an older pro-musician so he knows what to play, as of course does our manager who played the bass for us this time (he's actually a legendary bass player, used play with The Chambers Brothers, and currently plays with some ex-members of War and Traffic).

We only had one 4 hours practice, but we did well for the most part. My voice was a bit weaker due sickness, a couple of f#ckups and my low E string went out of tune too much, but it didn't seem like anybody noticed, and people were really lovin' it, so I guess f#ck it, who cares . It was good energy and we played really good for the most part. It was fun.

The Tribute band seemed to be a bit mediocre, it was alright though, but I didn't stay for too long. It felt great to be back on stage though!!
