 When we bought the house, I had big plans to redo the basement and pimp it. So much for that idea.

Bummer.
 Our roof had been in rather dire shape for a while now. Fortunately, we were finally able to have it redone Saturday morning. *whew*

At least you can fix a roof. I don't even know where the water is coming in in the basement. I'm guessing it's coming up from underneath the ground. Shit, I don't know.

Yeah, the water table is elevated and it comes up through cracks in the foundation. Connecticut weather is probably the worst in this disgusting country.
