carrot cake

Carrot cake should be celebrated. IMO, it just doesn't get too much better than a good piece of carrot cake.

To anyone who posts any anti-carrot cake remarks in this thread, I will personally suggest to the mods here that you be banned. This thread is for all of carrot cake fans.

Behold, the carrot cake:

Did you let people try all four? I have not met too many cakes I didn't like.

Yeah, instead of getting a huge wedding cake for a bazillion dollars, we found this local shop with all kinds of amazing cakes and ordered just a bunch of regular size cakes from them. It was much cheaper in the long run (about $150, I think, and they delivered them to the site for free!!).

We had carrot cake, yellow cake with fudge icing, chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream icing, and double chocolate mousse cake. Everyone was welcome to have as much as they wanted. (This cow of a woman I used to work with - who I didn't want to invite in the first place - ate a slice of all four cakes by herself...)

I was so busy trying to get to see everyone, that I didn't get any, but it was probably best because my dress had a ridiculous corset anyway...

FYI, I did not get any carrot cake. When I started this thread, there was a carrot cake in the office fridge because it was someone's birthday. I had to leave work a little early that day and I missed out on cake. The department didn't save me any. They are lucky I gave them their performace reviews before this incident.

Cakeless Baboon.
