But this viewpont is not held by large majority,according to the poll the top fvie presdients are:

Abrham Lincoln 18%

Ronald Reagan 16%

John F. Kennedy 14%

Bill Clinton 13%

Franklin D. Roosevelt 9%

I'd be more than happy. During the days leading up to the civil war he ruled by exectutive order and saw fit to push the constitution aside and raise up the army by his own authority. In doing so he took complete control of every aspect of the military. Civil law was abolished in areas he saw fit. He imprisoned almost 15,000 northernors in a disease infested ship in New York harbor (suspended Habeus Corpus). Censored all telegraph communications, and ordered union troops to interfere with yankee elections. He had at least 2congressmen deported for disagreeing with him, confiscated weapons and ordered the closure of newspapers that disagreed with him. Shall I continue?

And of course, the whole irony about all of this is that U.S. public is so completely, hopelessly STUPID, that I doubt 1% of them even know this guy was a repbulican. I can't help at wonder how different the polll results would be if they knew that stupid fact. Further irony is compounded by the fact that his piece of Illinois filth is the hero of the American left. I find that astounding, especially considering the virulent hatred of the current commander in stupidity who has committed far lesser crimes in the spirit of the U.S. favorite president.

The United States Public isn't worth my effort to spit on.

It really does press the question, to what lengths does one go in order to right a horrible injustice. Then again, this was just one religious sect's morality being enforced through a unitary executive with no respect for the Constitution. You're going to have to do better than this, or at least tell me why you think it was OK for one man to become a dictator for almost 4 years just because he chose to "emancipate" the slave nearly 3 years into the war. This was the same man who tried to repatriate all the slaves back to Africa. Just where did the authority to wipe his ass with the constitution come from, God? Did god also authorize his henchmen to burn the south to the ground over an institution that was business as usual since the founding of the U.S.?
