NOW Who will be President on January 21, 2009?
Now that the field of candidates has solidified somewhat, and your guess would no longer be your earliest, most wildly speculatory best guess...
Not who you WANT. But who WILL it be? If you choose Other, please specify. |

I voted for Hillary but the person I would want would be Bill Richardson.

Considering that the person I vote for never wins ... and I would absolutely go f'ing nuts if Hilary won ... I should vote for her ... just to ensure that she doesn't win.

Too early to call.
The rumour mills are already grinding and when the nominations actually take place there will be plenty of "swift-boating". Call us again after the conventions. Half the names listed above will either have (a) Said something totally dumb which can be construed as racist, sexist, antisemitic or un-American and implode as a result, or (b) be exposed as a philanderer, gambling addict, user of hookers, a bigamist, a transvestite or even, left handed.

Kucinich is the only person who belongs in the white house on that list, but because of that, the corporations and the media will not allow a man like him to even have a chance, only corporatist stooges have a chance to represent their masters in this country.

So why did you vote to predict that he'll win?

If you're a conservative, whatever you do, do NOT vote for Mike Huckabee. That sonobitch is a total democrat, control freak.

I'm beginning to think that maybe Dubya is going to hand the presidency over to Hillary, regardless of what the votes actually say.
Bush I -> Clinton -> Bush II -> Clinton II ? The crime syndicate has a strangehold on our country. |

Read the book, "Compromised" by Terry Reed. It might shed some light on the whole matter.

You probably don't even know what crimes I'm talking about, but of course anything bad about Bush couldn't be true. You're not much different than the diehard Clinton fans who refused to believe anything bad about their man. Willfull blindness, it's a wonderful thing! ![]() |

I suspect that, if not by 2009, by 2090, the US will no longer be even procedurally democratic, if it indeed exists (and if, indeed, humanity and/or civilisation still persists).

lily,
... OOOORRR, I could loan you a couple of bucks to go buy a sense of humor. But, I'd bet you'd decline my cash because it has that US government secret tracking radio device embedded in it.
