First they put 'Dog' Chapman in jail, and now this.
And yes, the "Homeland security" officials (gosh, that term is creepy) should also be prosecuted or lose their jobs. I feel so awful for the families of those men, especially after one of them was beaten in jail. You all, please sign this petition and email it to everyone! Pardon the Border Agents - sign now! |

I'm hearing more and more about this case, and I'm really worried for these guys, for their lives.
There's all sorts of crap coming out, that not only did DHS officials give false testimony about these guys, but apparently there's a connection between the drug dealer and one of the guys who lied about Ramos and Compean...and apparently a few jurors were coerced into making a guilty plea. There's more coming out too, and it stinks to high heaven. Even on the most conservative website out there (freerepublic.com) the Bush fans are starting to question why Bush has not done anything for these border agents, why they were thrown to a den of vipers, while meanwhile the drug runner is given immunity, free medical care at our expense, and is off scott free. Who is our government protecting, drug runners or our borders? Even some of the Bushies at FR are now saying the "War on terror" sounds like meaningless rhetoric when our government is not protecting the borders, they're basically wide open. Still looking into all the facts of this case that are coming out, but it's looking really rotten. |

You must be bored tonight. Your baiting comment is downright jojoesque.
In case you didn't understand the title of this thread - PEOPLE LIED ABOUT THE BORDER AGENTS, allegedly there's a connection between the drug runner and one of the people who lied - it's looking like these guys were railroaded.... answer me, fl, is it ok to lie under oath about someone and throw them in prison for 11 years while a drug runner illegally crossing the border gets off scott free? Yes or no, please. |

I refuse to answer complex questions in such a simplified manner. They're fallacious.
It is not okay to lie under oath. The drug runner got off because he cut a deal. Did they (the border patrol agents) do wrong? Yes. I like how you call my opinion "baiting." Please, prove that it is a baiting comment or rescind your claim as the lie that it is.

fl, false testimony was given about the agents so if you're basing your statement on the story you heard, think again.
As for baiting, I used the word as an adjective, meaning it was an inflammatory comment, the type that's usually intended to get a response out of someone. Whatever though, no big deal. You've been saying a lot of outrageous things lately, we're getting used to it. I'm going to bed. |

Can't be honest and you run away when you're called on your fallacies and lies. Typical of you.

You are hilarious. Always trying to create drama. Drama, drama, drama! Where did I lie?
I did feel your comment was inflammatory and that you want people to respond. Stop being a drama queen and derailing threads left and right. |

Who's derailing? You're the one whining about bogus claims and trying to employ fallacious logic.
Why don't you grow a backbone and stop running away from every debater who doesn't automatically agree with you? Or how about you address the substance of my post instead of pushing it off topic. Queens are annoying and you're no exception. But hey, you also said you were going to bed.

Christ. Are you two eight? You sound like pre-teens with vocabularies, used to thinly veil 'nu-uh, your stupid' comments.
Regarding the border agents--I really dont care, for numerous ethical reasons pre-determined by their job choice and actions, regardless of why.
