I do find it very sad that society judges people on appearance. Fat people can be beautiful on the inside.

The only bad thing about being fat, though, is that it is very unhealthy. Fat people have high rates of hear desease, diabetes and other illnesses.

I would have hoped juvenile taunting and mocking of overweight people would have been left behind in the grade school playground. Guess I expected too much of people.

It didnt suprise me to read some of the juvenil responses, as Criminal said, its unhealthy but dont forget that some severelly obese people have thyroid problems as well as it cant be helped.

I fell guilty about what I said now, but I cant change it, most fat people have made their own circumstances which they can change if they wish. Wheareas I was born ugly and no amount of slimming can resolve that.

I try to be as nice in real life, i have a heart and tend to feel for others distress a lot more than the average person, i suppose its as well theres some like me out here?

Everyone keeps saying this, but fat can be beautiful on the outside too. And it all depends on what you consider "fat," Size 14? 16? 20? 24? Someone might say "I like fat girls" meaning size 16, someone else might not consider that fat at all.

I don't know how sizes work
I'd say if you're shorter than I am and weigh more than I do. You're probably kinda fat.

I've always had an issue dating a larger woman than me... in either height or weight. Though I have in the past, in generaly I like women a little shorter than me, and weigh less than me. I'm 5'-9" ish 155lbs. ish So anything under that is in the "Good Range."

All the Dove girls seem perfectly acceptable... I don't consider them "Fat"... they would all make suitable mates. ...especially All of them at the same time!

Did you know that it wasn't until recently (the past 15 years or so) that doctors were required to take nutrition courses? That coupled with lack of knowledge in regards to metabolic conditions and you've got quite a conundrum.

When I was shopping for my wedding dress, I needed a size 14. I was much heavier than I am now, I weighed somewhere between 175-180 then. The salesgirl came out with a size 36C bra, and I told her it was too small, and she gave me the nastiest look like "fat pig" and said "we don't carry the larger sizes here. OK, some of you have seen my wedding picture, and I was a little chubby but not obese! I felt truly, truly sad and a great compassion for anyone larger than me at that point because if my 40 extra pounds could get me ill treatment (and that's not the only example) then what must happen to the ones that are truly huge? I think I was probably similar in physique to the largest Dove girl.

Many years ago I was walking between one suburb of Wellington (NZ's Capital City) and another (it wasn't more than a 30 minute walk), this chap pulls his car out of the traffic, winds down the passenger window and says to me " Do you know you're fat?" to which I replied " No, but if you hum a few bars I can fake it on the harmonica!"
