    Stuck in bed, once again

Damn it, I'm usualy not sick this often

The day I came home from camp, I was just fine. Tierd, maybe, but I wasnt sick. The next day my throat hurt a little, but nothing a little ice water wouldnt help. On the 3rd, my throat was burning and I felt so tierd that I layed on the couch most of the day. Today, I cant talk, swallow, or cough (which I've been doing alot) without my throat hurting really bad.
To top it all off, I havent gotten a chance to talk to Chris since I've been home from camp.
    This really sucks.
    And there's no sense crying
    over every mistake,
    you just keep on trying
'till you run out of cake.
    And the science gets done,
and you make a neat gun
    for the people who are
    still alive...

This life must be a test.... If it was the real thing we would have been given better instructions.

Sounds a bit like the septic throat I picked up in Albania.............where did you say the camp was again?

If it is a septic throat you have to keep it moist, (the throat), night is a bitch when it dries out as you sleep, and a liquid diet for a week. Got told to take a week off work ....... it was the week when the factory closed down for retooling, just my luck liquid diet on my week off! Try strefen lozenges,(Can you get them there?) they work pretty well for sore throats.

You have a deal of my sympathy.

    Mirrors on the ceiling,
    The pink champagne on ice
And she said ’we are all just prisoners here, of our own device’
    And in the master’s chambers,
    They gathered for the feast
The stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can’t kill the beast

It sounds like strep....or a sign from the gods that you shouldn't think about talking to Chris so much.....either way, hope it clears up soon, dearest Spaz.

Is pupple a variation of purple, by any chance?

    I know, its okay.
*oki starts memorising the english dictionairy*

    royals have blue blood.
and prince, the pop artist, was all about purple.
I think royals dont have a favourite color. maybe I should mail a few to ask.

Actually Purple used to be the colour of nobility in Rome (a purple stripe) only emperor or a triumphator was allowed to wear a full purple robe. But this was the Imperial purple made from the murex shell and an ounce of the dye cost more than a pound weight of gold! This passed on to the Holy Roman Empire and thence to "mere" royalty.

It should be noted that Queen Victoria the Empress of India put aside her mourning black to wear purple (the very first aniline dye) in 1862.

    Thanks.

I'm not good at letting myself get better. Today I was invited to go swimming with my friend, so when my mom asked me if I was feeling alright, of course I said yes (it was half true, so its not a lie).
Stuffy nose, sore throat, and water in your ears. Not a nice combination.

    Oh, well. I had FUN.

drink water and get some rest

I would hate for there to be anything in my beer, except more beer.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
