FORUM CONDUCT/GUIDELINES:

The "who, what, when, where, and how" of sexuality is intended for The Everything Forum. However, the "why" of it, the thought processes (or lack thereof) that go into sexuality, those are allowed to remain in the Relationships forum.

What does this mean? This means that threads about sex are to be posted in TEF, as are threads dealing with specific and/or graphic (be they text or language-based) aspects of sexuality.

However, general questions and/or threads in the vein of how important is sex in your relationship/am I gay/Friends with benefits, etc. are allowed, provided that they stay within a PG-13 guideline for conversation. Why are we allowing these threads? Because these are the kind of topics that determine how we approach, treat, and interact in our relationships, and as such they are applicable to a Relationships forum. But the moment a thread is turned into a thread about sex, it gets moved to The Everything Forum, and depending on the circumstances surrounding the transition, members may receive warnings for taking the thread off-topic.

This is a family-oriented site, and we will run it as such and enforce the Terms of Service accordingly.

The Staff of DiscussAnything.com wants to ensure a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all members. Therefore, report immediately to an Administrator or Moderator any PMs or posts that contain improper advances or harassing or offensive remarks. Be sure to forward the PM or copy the post containing such offensive statements.

Never give out your personal information to other members you do not know well.

Unfortunately I think its going to be very hard to find a balance where the board can be "family oriented" to the point where there are no themes being discussed that should be screened from pre-teens, while at the same time leaving the discussion topics fully open to the adults.

On a side note though, this thought just occurred to me - I thought most discussion boards required members to be at least 13.

Maybe it's admin specific, but the fax idea would not fly at another board I'm on that is for 18 and above. If it's found out your under 18, your out...no if, ands or butts.
