Yes, KRIGBERT my friend, it is quite intense. The quality and diversity of the songs of the late 60's was amazing especially considering the difficulty and expense of recording back then compared to now. It was really like the primordial soup from which the greatest musical material emerged from either fully formed then or having evolved into being more refined later.
Snouter, could you please post the link to this website?![]()
"Rock Me Baby"-Otis Rediing.
I think it's ore fun to do it the old school way, with actual record collections, than with the 'net.
It is difficult for any decent person to sit back and not comment on the anti-Semitism,racism ,sexism ,and all-around ignorance espoused on the majority of DA's posts,it's fucking sad when one gets a warning for simply being a decent person.

'This Love' by Maroon 5 is stuck in my head, though, and the last song I listened to before I got here was 'Wear Your Love Like Heaven' by Donovan.

It was big back in my old town. And both my parents have decent taste in music.
Actually, many good modern bands complain that the ease and "quality" of modern recording equipment make production sound "plastic". I think the black keys actually recorded their stuff themselves.
I'm still not going to jump in with the hallelujah-choir singing how nothing good's really happened since the early 70's.
but they do have a point
