    Sorry to hear you were not feeling well on your trip.
    It has been a dismal season for snow in the Sierras. I am off to Mammoth in a couple of weeks. My hopes are not high in favor of good conditions. Oh well, at least I get to ride for a few days.

    I finally felt 100% five days after we got there. I hear Mammoth is having a great year for snow. Have fun!

    No, there wasn't much snow. Not by their standards, anyway. About half the mountain was open. The snow was very similar to what w ski here on the East Coast: Hard packed powder. So I was completely in my element. Two days after we left, the Tahoe resorts got 3-4 FEET of snow. Bastards.
