meh, why not?
Why? W-H-Y, why?
In this lightning moment when you walk the earth, your first duty, by enlarging your ego, is to live through the endless march, both visible and invisible, of your own being.

I played darts with doug for about 2 hours yesterday. I won one game out of about 15 or something. I spend a lot of time with friends, watch movies, read, play poker, stuff like that....what do you do in your sparetime?
Usually when I think to myself "that was a great weekend" it involves adventures with my good friends. If I haven't sat around all weekend doing nothing, if I feel like I've accomplished something, it's a good weekend. I like doing stuff that I've never done before.what is a good weekend for you?
Oh man, I wish I knew, but it really does.why does losing someone hurt so damned much?
if you could make a movie about anyone, famous or unknown, who would it be?
colour or black and white films (movies)?
what inspires you (creatively)?
blackjack or hold 'em?
if you could name a pivotal moment in your life what would it be?
how did you decide on the career that you have chosen (oo, badly worded)?
what are 5 important traits in a person to cause you to respect them?
what are your top 5 bands (influence or just enjoy)?
do you have goals that you hope to achieve in the next 5 years?

Wow, never thought about that one. Perhaps my friend who killed himself in college, but that seems a bit cliche. Most of my favorite films are about people who struggle with good and evil inside themselves, so whoever I chose, i think that'd be the subject. I don't know who would be the best subject for that, have to think about it.Originally Posted by seekerofvisions
Generally I prefer color, but B&W has it's place as well. Raging Bull is absolutely stunning as a B&W film, it's one of my favorites. I also really enjoy the small use of color in the film in jake lamotta's home movies.colour or black and white films (movies)?
Emotion and commonality.what inspires you (creatively)?
Hold 'em x 100000blackjack or hold 'em?
Somewhere around 17 or 18 I realized that while I thought I was a nice, honest, good guy, I was in reality a dishonest, frightened shmuck. I learned a lot about my ability lie to myself in order to avoid emotionally painful realities.if you could name a pivotal moment in your life what would it be?
I sort of fell into it I suppose. I decided on a film degree because I've always found films to have incredible artistic potential and I wanted to explore that. Once I graduated I realized I had to make money somehow, so I moved to LA to see if I could utilize what I had just learned.how did you decide on the career that you have chosen (oo, badly worded)?
Off the top of my head (these may change with more thought)what are 5 important traits in a person to cause you to respect them?
integrity
honesty
humility (when appropriate0
a sense of fun/humor/adventure
empathetic

Not really, my only real goal is to be satisfied with my place in life. I do have career goals but they're flexable and dynamic.do you have goals that you hope to achieve in the next 5 years?
do you think we act on instinct more than we realize?
do you think our questions will be answered when we pass?
Hmm, never pondered that one. I'd have to guess yes, I think so. Mostly because every milisecond of our live involves a choice (or a thousand) and I'd guess the majority of them aren't really on a conscious level, so I'm sure instinct plays a large part.Originally Posted by seekerofvisions
I don't think so. I think I'll be dirt when I die, but of course I can not be certain.do you think our questions will be answered when we pass?
do you think we have choices, i mean really have choices? (yes, dangerously close to free will, but i'm not actually meaning that. or maybe i am, i don't know.)
do we choose to love?
if i ever met you, where would we go? what we do? (in the most social of senses, not meaning to be flirty at all, just something i was thinking about in regards to meeting da members)
do you think of the camera as an outer extension of your own eye? is that a good way of understanding how you see the world?
do you consider yourself a creative person?
I like "Fall to Pieces" by Avril. Does that make me a bad person?
Oh Lord, make me pure...but not yet. - Robbie Williams
I don't believe in fate, so in that regard, yes, I think we do. That said, perhaps there is a mathematical type formula where if one had all information about everything, one could predict 100% what someone's choices would be. I think instinct and personality play a pretty big role in our choices. In a nutshell, yes, I think we have choices, but they are limited by ourselves. I have no idea what I'm talking about.Originally Posted by seekerofvisions

How about Clifton's Cafeteria downtown cuz it's so horrible in an awesome way ( http://www.cliftonscafeteria.com/pag...dale_home.html ), then a drink and a gallery since we're downtown.if i ever met you, where would we go? what we do? Outer extension of my eye, no. Understanding how I see the world, possibly. My photos never look the same printed as they did in my view finder. I can almost always tell if something is going to be a good picture of not, but somehow they always look different once they're printed. I think they probably often do offer some insight into my understanding and view of the world. One of my favorite things to shoot is portraits because I like to give the photo a feeling of how I perceive the personality of the subject. I dunno....do you think of the camera as an outer extension of your own eye? is that a good way of understanding how you see the world?
Not really. I've been around so many amazing creative minds in my life, comparatively my creative pool is pretty shallow.do you consider yourself a creative person?
