    Yup, you got it right

    Here comes the next one

There was a racing horse who won every single race it had entered. The owner hired a guard to watch the horse every single night. One day the guard comes to work early exclaiming to have a dream last night where the horse gets hit by a train. The owner fires him.

    Why?

The guard was hired to watch the horse AT NIGHT. He dreamt the the PREVIOUS NIGHT.

Therefore, the guard was sleeping on the job.

there are a few theories on what 1 + 1 equals

    the basic maths is 2
    a cryptic way is 1 + 1 =11 by following the first 1 with the second 1
    in synergy, 1 + 1 = 3

with zen, 1 + 1 is actually 1 as by adding them together, you have just one unit still

    1+1 can also equal 10.
