Actually, it does, because if it did not, the SC would not have found that it did. Basically, you're pitting your constitutional interpretation against that of the SC. I'll go with them.

It will also be overturned as soon as Obama reverses the court's ideological polarity in his 2nd term.
Right after we get 6.5% unemployment, I'm sure.
    The ambassador died, Obama lied.

Cyclone Ranger wouldn't care 1 bit if the U.S military and the combined police forces entered homes like they did in Katrina and confiscated weapons. No, not confiscate, steal. That's how pretend Oligarchs like Cowpunk and his lackeys play. That's how progressives play, and they will be stopped if not by law, but by force. God, I love this decade.

Irrelevant. The SCOTUS only has only has authority over law, not issues of historiography.

In other words, the majority was wrong.

That is not correct. We were given the right to bear arms so that we could not be plundered by the government. It's what our forefathers intended. As such, liberals need to adhere to the 2nd Amendment and stop attempting to strip people of their rights.

But it's the only way Obama can achieve his agenda.

The right we were given, as per the framers, was to serve in the militia; that is, the National Guard.

It was understood that way for a couple of centuries until The Honorable Antonin Scalia decided to do a little activism.

He already completed his agenda by getting the Affordable Healthcare Act ratified.

Cowpunk that makes no sense. You are obviously unfamiliar with the US Constitution, the "framers" and the farmers.

I think I found the problem.

If you prefer "God-given rights recognized by the framers in the BOR," so be it.

The ACA is just part of the agenda. It takes awhile to reboot an economy this big. Soon enough we'll all be equal and poor and government will provide our every need.

    Fixed it for you.

You are a rare progressive. I don't believe in most of what you say but this is your finest moment. Excellent job.

    Vader gets an A-minus.

If, instead of writing "We were given the right", he had written "Government is forbidden to restrict our right", he would get a straight A.

    Still, well done!

I think that the original poster should try to sell this psychotic argument to the people who were murdered in the movie theatre in Aurora Colorado.

These reptiles in the NRA are too stupid to even read their own constitution.

Are you referring to the Constitution that the Supreme Court just recently said protected INDIVIDUAL, not militia, rights to own weapons? I mean, of course you know better than the SC and stuff.

Actually I do know better than the Supreme Court, or rather the five corporate stooges on the court.
