Don't get me wrong - nothing you said surprises me about Kaiser... but... 'foreigners'?

Foreign. Not American. Usually have gone to med school in another country (China, India, Middle East, Mexico, etc.) and while I believe they have to go to a US residency, they are often on a work visa. That sure was the trend years ago. Kaiser is a salary position and most physicians can make more in private practice, but for those doctors from other countries $140-150K/year was a good deal. Of course, that's all about to change and maybe more physicians will want salaries instead of dealing with insurance companies and lousy reimbursement.

Ok, fair enough - before it sounded like you were merely taking exception to their non-European backgrounds. But if you have evidence they were not trained in the US, that's a fair point in my opinion.
