No offense but that SUCKS. I am impressed with the vocal harmonies though since that is difficult to do.
...again.
Koritni, Aussie rocker, have their 3rd CD out. The first 2 kicked butt, and from what I have heard, so does their 3rd one. American hard rock bands are being shamed by foreign bands, especially some of the new Aussie bands.
When God invented hard rock (not pop crap, hard rock). This band follows God's pattern.
Down At The Crossroads, off their 3rd CD, just released.
No offense but that SUCKS. I am impressed with the vocal harmonies though since that is difficult to do.
Why would I allow you to offend me? Let's face it, the "I'm offended" crap got old a long time ago. You control your emotions as I control mine. Why grant anyone the power over those emotions? It's silly to run around screaming "I'm offended."
Yet your opinions are welcomed and I appreciate your responding (I really do).
I still live in the past, the past where hard rock was hard rock (I'm an old man who, as Anselmo said, "I am an old man who will live until I die"). It's what I still love the most in the world of music.
There are some new bands that show a lot of promise. Airbourne is another new one, off their first CD (they have 2 out).
Airbourne - Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast
Let's face it KZ this has been happening for a looooong time.
Personally I like the track.
Is it derivative? Yes...derivative of good ol' butt kicking rock. The kind that makes you wanna drink and party (like we could when we were a tad younger).
Is it a little weak lyrically? Maybe but who cares!
Keep bringing it old man!![]()
I never, ever went to a concert to hear the lyrics a band plays. They are of no importance to me. I go to hear the music.
Ever listen to C&W? Talk about some hilarious (good hilarious) lyrics. They are much more creative than rock bands. Some are brilliant.
TO SUM UP KILLZONE'S ATTITUDE FOR 40 YEARS OF GOING TO CONCERTS:
I ain't concerned about the lyrics.
I just don't want to hear some band member preach to me.
Shut the hell up and play.
The Answer, also Aussies, from their 2nd CD (they now have a 3rd out). Astonishingly, their lead vocals can sing, rare indeed for a hard rock band.
Come Follow Me:
How can a lover of hard rock NOT like that and them?
