    Movies I saw this weekend

    1 Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

What a fucked up concept! And best of all... it made for one hell of an action movie! I mean this cat was kicking ass! He gets this totally hot babe, Mary Todd, he kills a bunch of evil nasty blood suckers and frees all slaves in the US! Don't fuck with Honest Abe or he will knock you on your ass! YEA!

    2 Rock of Ages

Check it out! I did not want to see this movie. In fact I went kicking and screeming but my friend insisted since I dragged her to the Lincoln movie. And when the movie starts with a whole bus load of passengers starts singing Night Ranger's Sister Christian, I closed my eyes and sat in terror of what the next two hours would bring! But then when I saw Alan Baldwin do his best to mimic a hair band ballad from the 80s and THEN Tom Cruz play a burned out rock start, I saw the genius of this flick!

This movie, as I found is a total scream! There were plenty of laughs and somewhere in the story I actually fell for it all.

So this is the story, a cute girl comes to LA from Oklahoma to become a rock star, gets a job at a rock club, falls for an aspiring rock n roll star and yadda yadda yadda. Sure the plot is lame and a total cliche. But give this flick a chance and you will see one of the unintentially funniest flicks since The Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Its all there: All the songs you loved and hated from the 80s. Pat Benitar, Journey, REO Speedwagon and every sappy hair ballad ever written is in this movie. If you lived through, and survived the 80s then you will love this tour de farce!

Well thats all to report for now. Hang loose dawgs!

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
    Abraham Lincoln
