    I Almost Got All Teary Eyed

    So I save a family of 5 today on the Long Island Sound from my kayak after their catamaran capsized and the dude's wive says, "Thank you. I will never forget you."

    Not bad at all! She was wearing a life vest and I told her everything was okay, that I used to be a lifeguard. She held my hand for a few seconds while she was in the water and I was in the kayak. I could feel a possible connection! It was all wet, but that was salt water!
