Rangers lead the league in hitting:

Josh Hamilton is one back of the AL leader in home runs, he leads the AL in RBIs by an astonishing 11 (eleven), and he is hitting .337. Konerko leads the AL hitting .354.
Josh Hamilton is truly a superstar, even if I don't like him.
Their starting lineup is knocking the cover off of the ball. Indeed, I doubt there is a team in the Bigs that have hitters that can match up with the Rangers first 6 hitters, or, for that matter, their entire lineup.
The team is one of, if not the, youngest in the Bigs. To sum, they have it all. They lead the West by 5.
And as God is my witness they will once again find a way to choke in the playoffs, as they've done the past 2 years.

And I hope they do choke. I shall laugh when they do.
