More than a few times I have opined that the U.S. Crimial Justice System is soooooooooooooooooooooooo full of shit, letting the perpetrators off with a lovevumms-dovvumms-dovvumms slap on the wrist. (More on that later)

But, mid you, *this* is a step in the RIGHT direction:
