Obviously, it's the black man's fault. Supply and demand have nothing o do with it!

I've related my experiences in the '70s, and how in the world does Iran's nuclear capabilities justify us burning up our oil today rather than save it?

Yes, oil will have to suffice, but it doesn't have to be our oil, the only reserves we can really count on. As long as others are willing to sell us theirs, then buy, buy, buy.

Actually it more likely to bring more terrorism acts into our shores.

If the supply of crude did fall to that point in the middle east, do you really think we would give it to countries like China who relies on Iran oil or to our enemies in the middle east?

    You are extremely naive.

Do you really ignore to that extent the oil producers' ability to influence our every days and create havoc?

We won't be giving it to anyone, but we'll enjoy the luxury of deciding who we'll sell it to. Planning ahead like that is thinking maturely, for the long term. Knowing how you're hardwired, I don't expect you to appreciate the wisdom of it.

Of course. Why do you think I want us to hang onto the only oil we own and control?

Your arguments are making no sense.
