It is difficult for any decent person to sit back and not comment on the anti-Semitism,racism ,sexism ,and all-around ignorance espoused on the majority of DA's posts,it's fucking sad when one gets a warning for simply being a decent person.

Since the conspiracy involves her husband as a principal, I imagine that will be brought up at his trial, as well. The Zimmermans seem to have much to hide regarding this incident, enough to go to jail over if caught.
Perjury during an official proceeding is a third-degree felony in Florida. If the proceeding involves a capital crime, it's a second-degree felony. These alone carry up to 15 year prison sentences, and then there's the second-degree murder charge against George.

It doesn't always work, but for now it seems like the justice system is working - it has been a revealing process and the trial hasn't even started yet.

TT, your article is missing some information such as how much she transferred to her own personal account before the bond hearing... haha there are dumbasses out there who helped these two pay off their credit cards.
According to court documents filed Tuesday afternoon, prosecutors obtained official bank records showing that between April 16 and April 19, in the days leading up to Zimmerman’s initial bond hearing, Shellie Zimmerman had transferred more than $74,000 from her husband’s account to her own.
There were a total of eight transfers, according to the documents -- four transfers in the amount of $9,990, two for $9,999, and two others for $7,500. Even after Zimmerman’s release, the large transfers of cash continued. On April 24, Shellie Zimmerman transferred more than $85,000 from her account to her husband's.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1591153.htmlAt a June 1 hearing, his bond was revoked after prosecutors presented recorded conversations in which Zimmerman and his wife seem to collude to keep the funds hidden. Zimmerman instructed his wife to "pay off all the bills," which included those for American Express and Sam’s Club credit cards.
"This court was led to believe they didn't have a single penny," prosecutor Bernie De la Rionda said at the hearing. "It was misleading, and I don't know what words to use other than it was a blatant lie."

The same shepherd that protects the flock leads them to the slaughterhouse.
this case will go on forever
I bet all those who donated to Zimmerman's cause and were outraged that people might comment on his character, are now cursing his character themselves.

Our laws involve one-time cash transactions over $10,000, or frequent cash transactions near that amount. If it isn't cash, the paper trail already exists and it's not necessary to create one.

Banks are required to report any deposits over $10,000 to IRS. It's also a way to watch for money laundering. However, I don't think it's ok to make 6 transfers just under $10,000 right before a bail hearing and then lie about it lol. I can't wait until that pig uses the money for liposuction or new boobs... that would be just desserts for everyone who blindly donated money to Zim.

I don't discount the theory that skipping the country was an option for them. However, I think they are simply massively stupid and unsophisticated people who don't understand the paper trail one creates by doing this. They mistook the IRS law of reporting over $10,000 as a safe guard for them and I don't think they realized the prosecutor could simply request all bank records for X time period. She put the money back into George's account which seems like a panic move. I believe they thought by channeling money into her account during the bail hearing, they could hide the money. If you are ready to skip, you are wiring money to an off shore account or getting cash.
And now she fears for her safety since her mug shot is plastered all over the place... which it would not have been except for her actions.

There's something broken in the logic there. If you think they are massively stupid, why do you think they'd be wiring money to an off shore account or getting cash? I don't disagree, that they are massively stupid mind you.
The skipping the country and massively stupid theories are not mutually exclusive and I think there is enough evidence there to seriously consider both

I hear you.
There are two possibilities.
He's guilty and wanted to be able to skip the country if his lies don't innocent him.
He's innocent but does not have complete faith in the justice system (which I could not blame him for).
But we know he has escaped justice before (as a matter of record, and as his own confession to his old myspace page shows) - we all should be seriously suspecting at this stage that the guy is lying through his teeth about what happened that night, with or without the inconsistencies in his statements.
There is silence from those who spoke of Zimmerman lynch mobs and defended against any discussion of his character: shows we may well all be at that stage now.

I've noticed that it takes some people longer to catch up on many things. Thank God for small favors.

Actually, no. I didn't donate to his cause, but I was and remain in the camp that we should not immediately start judging a person's character based on the first pieces of information that hit the 24 hour talking head circuit after something happens. Think about how many people had already decided that Zimmerman was not only guilty, but had already decided what his punishment should be. Conversely, think of how many had already decided that Martin was a common street thug who deserved to die, all within the first day or two after it happened. After that, we get the story the news outlets want us to hear, not the whole thing. Case in point, the infamous MSNBC attempt to smear Zimmerman as a racist by deliberately editing the 911 tape. Better to let the whole thing come out, then decide.
The Zimmermans have certainly not done themselves any favors by concealing financial resources, that's for sure. They could have nepharious intent, be getting bad legal advice, or be just plain stupid. Either way, since their case depends on his trustworthiness, it didn't help.
The ambassador died, Obama lied.
