They are hot, winning 9 of their last 10. First place as of 17 June, today. A-Rod has 639 career home runs, 21 shy of tying Willie Mays' 660.

Boston is 8 games out, dead last. I wonder how the Dead Sox fans feel about Bobby Valentine? They are in the process of playing themselves out of a chance.

I still think the Rangers have the best team in baseball. They are young and they have pitching. I hate them, and I still think they'll win the WS this year (I hope I am wrong).

Andy Pettitte is pitching against the Mets tonight at Citi Stadium. Pettitte is 3-2 with an ERA of 2.77. Pretty good for a 40 year old. He has an outside chance to make the Hall of Fame.
