This is really out of the box, people these days sure do know how to complain about the economy but doesn't think twice on buying tickets for these sports events.
I knew attending pro sporting events was expensive but this article blew me away. I attended a lot of Kings, Rams, Raiders, Dodgers, and Angels games back in the 1970s and 1980s and just paying for myself (no family then) in the cheap seats was doable. Beer was the biggest expense (and I found ways around that by devising ways to sneak beers in...)
I read this and I can't believe it.

Thank the unions for the cost

THE ANGRY LITTLE THREAD KILLER !
I haven't been to a pro game since the Vikings strummed the Cowboys in a playoff game in 1977 (I think). No baseball, basketball, none of it. It really isn't the price. It's boring. This is really out of the box, people these days sure do know how to complain about the economy but doesn't think twice on buying tickets for these sports events.

Unions have helped the players and I'd want to be a member if I were a player. They have driven up prices, but they have also freed the players from those long-term contracts.
