Is it possible to be ejected from a vehicle while wearing seat belts?

I read about people being ejected all the time but it seems only a very small percentage of people don't wear seat belts. So, is it possible?

Yes. People can get ejected out of vehicles when they don't wear seat belts. Sometimes through the windows/windshield, sometimes through the sun roof. It hits the news because it's usually a horrific crash.

Many more folks who don't wear seat belts only "star" the windshield in lesser dramatic crashes. The star is the crackly design a skull makes on the windshield that is not fully broken by the skull's impact.

There is usually a massive brain injury, crackly design on the skull too.
