Not if they are nightmares. I have stopped/started medications a couple times and had nightmares that included knowing I was in a nightmare and being unable to "pull" out of it. I have yelled my wife's name "Wake me up!" or at least tried to yell it. It sucks knowing you are in a nightmare - being aware you are in bed - but not being able to get out of it.

Well 86, since I actually do that daily here at DA, it was not a wish-fulfillment type dream! This was more like a nightmare!

I had a nightmare that my hubby used up all my potatoes. For some odd reason in my dream this distressed me;must have been meatloaf night.

There's enough sugar in a box of those tasty little flakes to put you in a diabetic coma. I'm not at all surprised you had weird dreams.

I have night terrors because of high stress. Bad stuff. Very vivid.

Of course you dream about your musical idols, I can relate to that, after all, sometimes Jimi Hendrix makes appearances in my dreams!

He couldn't do that EVEN in his dreams.

yea, its also disturbing dreams when you dream you wake up...and then wake up for real. i had that once 11 times in a row before waking up for real. its so weird, you start doubting things are real. i kept touching everything, making sounds, checking the colours and made sure i was awake, only to 'wake up' again. when i eventually did wake up, i decided to just not go back to sleep, just sat in my chair with a can of coke to stay awake. then i noticed there was a ball in my can, size of a tennisball and thought "hey, i dont have any coke in the house!" and woke up again...

    LOL

Had one last week where I sustained a large injury, woke up with such serious chest pain, would be from the tensing of the muscles in reaction to said "pain" hurt like hell for a couple of hours, I have those now and then, thank goodness rarely.
