You're dead wrong there. Calling someone abnormal is decidedly inflammatory, pejorative and antagonistic.

The general public does not distinguish between "norm" and "normal." The former has a statitistical connotation. The latter does not.

"Gay" doesn't mean "queer" unless you want to use it so. "Normal" is not a "good" word just because of what you think it might mean. It means what it means - near a norm. The norm may be desirable or it may not be, but "normal" carries no connotation unless you want to pick a fight.

It's like our use of "tribe" when describing a group that shares social and cultural mores, or "aborigine" to refer to native peoples. Some may bristle at the terms but they're accurate and proper and carry no negative connotation.

Just to lightly differ your comment........people of the opposite sex that "do it" for funzies and to NOT procreate....where do they come in to this?

Eventually most of those who do it for fun end up with a postive pregnancy test. Gays Will 100% never procreate with their partners. No judgement, it's just the way the life cycle works.
