Do most "Born Again" people transition from miserable existences?

Were people miserable prior to becoming "Born Again"? Were "Born Again" people previously depressed, suicidal, alcoholics, drug addicts, prisoners, etc? Did they become "Born Again" just after they "hit bottom"?

Are people who are generally happy, well adjusted, stable, well balanced, and mentally healthy less likely to become "Born Again"?

Is becoming "Born Again" basically your body's psychological survival mechanism to avoid suicide?

Well there is an interpretation of a passage in the New Testament of the Book of Yahweh in which Jesus implies there is a spiritual requirement that if not met, leaves folks stuck in the materialistic, bizarre insanity of the Old Testament.

Born Again people feel guilty if they don't feel happy.

being born again simply means you have turned your life over to Christ and you have become a new creature through him

Being born again does not necessarily change you physically. It is your inner man, the spirit that is renewed and re-born. So your physical attributes, emotions and all that you see do not go away. You have to work on it to change as you mature as a Christian. It must be done consciously.
