Everyone already knows that exercise is good for their health; but the majority of people don't exercise at all. And, a lot of guys especially, lift weights motivated by vanity.

Everyone already knows this. Lack of knowledge of the benefits of exercise is not the problem.

    Motivation is the problem.

    I would think so.

Personally, I do things that I enjoy - things I would do anyway even if there were no health benefits, such as playing full court basketball 5 on 5 at lunch. It really is fun. It involves team work and intensity. I even network with some of the guys I play with as they work at Western Digital (hard drives).

Regular exercise is one of the things you learn to enjoy because it makes you feel good all the time. I've exercised daily for over eight years now and feel great. There are days that I don't feel like exercising but I do it anyway. I never feel worse afterward and I usually feel better. It's its own reward.

Tonight I will probably end up with a chick getting some jaw and neck exercise. So I provide a service in that regard. It is a form of aerobics I suppose!

Exercise and diet plans, tips and pieces of advice are everywhere but the strong motivation and commitment are rare. Many people start exercising with good joy but just end up after few day getting bored with it.. why? Because they can't hold themselves motivated for the end fitness results. Actually there is no end to exercise its a routine throughout your life if you want some real benefits..

The same came be said for diet. You should never go "on a diet" you should change your lifestyle of eating habits. You cannot exercise for a bit, lose weight and then stop. You will end up looking worse than before. Once you tone, you need to maintain.

Sex is a great form of exercise. If you are lucky enough to get it regulary, you can count it as "working out". LOL.

Its the Dopamine our brains put out, during any physical exertion. ie; physical labor, exercise, sex , dance, jogging, biking...all the good stuff!!

The harder you work, the more good chemicals your brain puts out, and then; natural high!!

That's very nice to hear that you have been consistently exercising for 8 years. Kudos to you. I too feel very freshened up after being working out. Really it gives an inner pleasure.
