The difference is that I am not in any way a party to what al Qaeda has done. As a tax slave of the U.S. government, I am, however unwillingly, a party to what it does in the name of “the American people”. Additionally, since al Qaeda is if not an outright creation of the U.S. government then at a minimum a response to it’s interventionist policies of the past century, al Qaeda can at least claim that it’s actions are a reaction.

But I give NO shelter to anyone who goes around killing or applauding the killing of innocent people. That includes YOU.
